My Diary: Looking At The World With Insect Eyes

After a spell working in the axolotl garden,‭ ‬June and I went out for the day‭; ‬we left the house like firework rockets:‭ ‬typically I travelled horizontally before hitting the front door of a picturesque country cottage being prepared for its new life as a jigsaw puzzle box lid.‭ ‬June meanwhile ascended through the clouds that initially reminded me of an aging rock musician’s beard and then a troupe of can can dancers simultaneously kicking out of a crumpled face flannel.‭ ‬We both caught the train from the still yawning station‭ (‬caterpillar prolegs protruding from my pantomime tunic and butterfly wing markings across June’s parachute fabric coat‭)‬.‭ ‬We ate like synchronised swimmers and came home as caddis fly larva‭ ‬-‭ ‬I ended the day,‭ ‬as usual,‭ ‬philosophising in a fast moving stream.
